You can host your child's birthday party at Riverside Zoo!
The zoo has a Gazebo/picnic area not far from the playground that's perfect for birthday gatherings.
We also have a room available for parties if the weather does not permit for an outdoor gathering.
The room/gazebo rental fee is standard to all Do-It-Yourself parties and cannot be omitted.

Room or Gazebo rental fee (2 hours)                                                           $25.00
Includes education animal visit and a safari clue sheet for a walking tour of the zoo.  Members receive a $5 discount.  Choose from these animals for the animal visit:
Domestic ferret, blue-tongued skink, bearded dragon, ball python
Zoo Admission ($2.50 adults, $1.00 children ages 5-12, $2.00 seniors 65+)     $varies

Birthday party T-shirt (for the birthday person only)                                  $8.50
Party Supply Package (OPTIONAL)                                                            $50.00
Includes 18 cupcakes, paper goods (napkins & cups), punch, 18 invitations, table coverings and a gift bag for the birthday child.
Members receive a $5 discount.

If you do not choose the Party Supply Package please bring your own table coverings, decorations, plates, napkins, cups, cake or cupcakes, beverages, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: Balloons, pinatas, confetti, drinking straws and food to feed the animals ARE NOT allowed in the zoo.

Please confirm your list of decorations with a zoo staff member before bringing them into the zoo.  We ask that you place all used plates, utensils and other waste in garbage containers.  Children MUST be supervised at all times;  there must be one adult per seven children.

Please plan to book your party at least two weeks in advance.
