Come see the newest additions to Riverside Zoo's animal collection!

• Two Amur Tigers (named Lana & Nika) on display in exhibit alternating days with our Bengal Tiger (Kaylee).

• Two Pallas Cats (Fillip & Aleksander) on display next to the Discovery Center.

Look for the addition of a brand new SPLASH PAD located near the Zoo's playground area.
 This new feature will be open by summer of 2009!

The zoo staff is currently incorporating a new African Exhibit in the chimpanzee complex
that will also be completed by the summer of 2009!

SEASON KICK-OFF AND GRAND OPENING OF THE SPLASH PAD
May 30, 9:30am to 4:30pm
The splash pad, a new water feature at the zoo, will be open for kids (and adults) of all ages to enjoy.  Bring your swimming suits, lawn chairs and sunscreen!  There will be several craft vendors, activities, hands-on experiences with education animals, drawings for door prizes, lunch for a nominal fee, dollar admission for all ages and much more.

9TH ANNUAL ZOOBILEE
July 31, 2009
The theme for this year's Zoobilee will be "The Oldies".  A live 50's band will be here from Colorado.  There will also be great food, atmosphere and good company both two and four-legged.  The proceeds from this event directly benefit the zoo through capital improvements funded by the Riverside Zoological Society.  There will also be raffles for great prizes.
Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
